Forbidden Love
Fairly Oddparents fanfic based on the show created by Butch Hartman
By: PurpleDameKat, Mistress Of Cliches and Cheesiness

Love is so mysterious. Sometimes it seems so easy, and yet...so immensely difficult...

The sun shone brightly on Dimmsdale Elementary.

Some say there are no limits to love...and yet many do put barriers...

A girl was making her way through the corridors, making everyone's heads turn as they looked at her. Her raven-black hair bounced gaily against her back, pulled back by a bright pink headband.

And how can you tell if it's true love or not? How can people tell when they've finally found...their soulmate?

She was elegantly dressed in her favorite outfit...a matching pink blouse with a white skirt, and white boots. Even though she wore that ensemble often, it never failed to attract the guys' attention. In fact, it didn't matter what she wore - she just attracted attention, period, whether from the drooling boys who wanted her, or from the jealous girls who wanted to be like her.

Love is like a dead frog...it's weird.

"Trixie, look. It's that Turner kid again. You can reject him again, and that'll be the three thousand, five hundred and sixty-ninth time. A new record!"

"Huh?"

Trixie Tang snapped out of her thoughts. She looked at the boy blocking her way, who was clad in a pink hat, and a pink shirt, and dark pants. He had slightly messy brown hair, bits of which dripped down into his blue eyes. He was smiling - a rather goofy grin that emphasized his big buck teeth.

"Hi, Trixie," he greeted. Timmy Turner had that dreamy trance in his eyes, just like any guy who walked past her. He held up a red, heart-shaped piece of paper that had two crudely-drawn human figures on it, outlined in a pen that was seemingly running low on ink, and colored with crayons. "I made this for you."

She blinked, and regarded the drawing. It wasn't a Picasso or a Da Vinci, but it looked as though he had spent a great deal of work on it, and he even got the exact shade of pink right on Trixie's outfit on the picture.

That's so sweet of him, she thought, but before she could say anything to Timmy, Veronica, Trixie's comrade, stepped forward, her blonde pigtails swishing.

"That is like, the worst drawing yet," she teased, poking Timmy's work. "It's even worse than the one where you drew Trixie as a princess. Come ON! Look at it! Even a two-year-old could draw better than him!"

She glanced at Trixie and waved a hand before her.

"Wha - I think...even an infant could draw better than him!" Trixie started to point and laugh at Timmy, while Veronica grabbed the drawing out of his hands and crumpled it up into a ball. She then chucked it into the nearest trash can and giggled evilly after sticking her tongue out at him.

Timmy sighed, and walked away, his hands in his pockets. He had been rejected for the three thousand, five hundred and seventieth time, but he looked down at his green and pink books and eventually rounded a corner of the hallway and completely disappeared.

Trixie was dumbstruck. She found herself staring off after him, and as Veronica led her away, she resisted the urge to slap her best friend for being so rude and so dim-witted.

"Come ON, Trixie!" the blonde girl crowed. "Maybe we can gloat in front of the boil kid this time!"

"Wait." Trixie planted her boots into the tiled floor. "You go on ahead. I have to get...something from my locker. I'll see you in front of the boil kid's locker?"

Veronica nodded. "I'll call you on my cell phone if anything goes wrong, or if I decide to meet you someplace else, like in front of the popular girls' bathroom. Don't worry."

She turned on her heel and sauntered off, leaving Trixie behind, who looked around carefully before running towards the trash can in the vicinity. Wincing at the smell and at the feel of the garbage, the girl plunged her hand in and fished Timmy's picture out. Smoothing out the wrinkles and making a mental note to squirt some perfume on it, she gazed at the picture, her sapphire eyes shining with delight and admiration.

Chad and Tad, the popular boys who had taken a fancy to her and Veronica, often bought her things to make her happy and just to impress everyone else who didn't have enough cash to spend on gifts for the terrific Trixie Tang. But buying was easy - all one had to do was to hand over the money and get what he or she wanted. And here was Timmy Turner, who drew his own art instead of paying someone else to do it, or buying something from a mall.

Stuffing the picture into her pocket, she took out her cell phone and dialed Veronica's number.

"Hello?"

"Trixie! Hi! I'm with Chad and Tad at the cafeteria! Get over here before the caviar gets cold!"

"I'm there!"

Trixie closed her cell phone and made her way towards the cafeteria, her mind still on Timmy.

I've been rejecting this guy for like, forever, and now suddenly I don't want to reject him anymore.

She waved idly at a couple of boys on their knees, offering her daisies and saying over and over, "We are not worthy!"

Suddenly, I like it more when he says that I'm pretty than when Tad or Chad or even Veronica says I'm pretty...

She pushed past Chester and AJ, Timmy's two best friends, and realized that her heart sank a bit when she saw that Timmy wasn't with them.

I'm popular, so that means I can have anything I want. So why can't I have even one moment with the lowly, unpopular and handsome Timmy Turner?

"There you are, Trixie! We saved you a seat! No wait...we didn't have to." Veronica waved eagerly towards her, while Tad and Chad flashed identical smiles.

"I explain the chart to anyone who wants a seat," said the large bodyguard who often kept watch at the popular table.

And why can't I ask him to change the chart so Timmy can sit with me?

...

This is SO weird. I think the kid with the pink hat and the buck teeth could be my soulmate?

Love IS weird. But I don't care.

Maybe someday, I'll find out if this is true love, if I'm really falling for Timmy Turner.

Or is this it already?

~~THE END~~
No, this is NOT yaoi. Neither is it yuri, or shounen-ai, or shoujo-ai.

It's just a really, really, REALLY short TimmyXTrixie fanfic. Yes, I support the TootieXTimmy and TrixieXTimmy 'ships. Both of them. So sue me. :XD:
